An 1888 catalog from J. Van Lindley of Guilford County North Carolina invites fruit enthusiasts to inspect the Pomona nursery, touting apples peaches pears and many fruits and ornamentals with a new catalogue and free prospectus. Salesmen in every county offered with commissions.
Sealed bids for 30000 dollars of Durham North Carolina bonds due in twenty years with 7 percent interest are invited by the board of commissioners under a 1856 election. Bids to be sent marked sealed bid by November 15 1848 to the address of Meggan Trost Batnim Tennessee.

The Union will meet last Tuesday each month at 34 welock with the next officers to be elected then.
