Trinity Defeats Tennessee in Annual Intercollegiate Debate
In Cra ven Memorial hall on Monday night Trinity defeated the University of Tennessee in the second annual contest between the two schools. The judges were E. W. Sikes, H. Clay Lilly, and T. B. Fuller. Arguments for the affirmative led by A. M. Burdette and R. L. Klutts, with G. M. Daniels and E. W Knight handling the negative. A lively crowd sang with the Trinity glee club during intermissions, and a miscommunication about the date briefly dimmed attendance.
