S. P. Company Sues In Equity Over Arizona Notes
The Southern Pacific railroad petitions an equity suit in a U S court against W P Geary F A Jones A W Cole and others including Arizona Corporation Commission members George P Bullard Attorney General Frank H Lyman and Maricopa County Attorney. It seeks a ruling that it may issue notes secured by personal property without Commission approval or certification fees and asks to bar enforcement of the Public Service Corporation Act as to those notes plus other equitable relief and costs.
