Colorado water limit set by Supreme Court decree
A Supreme Court decree enjoined Colorado from diverting more than 15 600 acre feet yearly from the Laramie Poudre through the proposed project. The ruling would cut state water from that source by about four-fifths, with the Attorney General stating approximately 76 000 acre feet had been claimed. The decision would prevent future irrigation of about 40 000 acres of land per the AG’s office.
