The body of Cen McPherson arrived at 94 o clock and was escorted through the city to Louisville depot by Regulars from the 10th Tenn Infantry and 6th Regular Artillery with Gen Mellroy Webster and Gov Johnson in attendance. The procession included city department officers. The remains depart on a special train at noon to Sandusky, Ohio, amid throngs of citizens and department employees paying tribute.
