Proclamation renews export ban on gunpowder and arms
Lords Justices and Council of Ireland extend six month prohibition on exporting gunpowder saltpetre and arms from Ireland. It orders all persons except the Master-General of the Ordnance not to transport materials beyond the seas or coastwise without permission from the Lord Lieutenant and Privy Council. The notice includes penalties and references an Act of George III. Also announces postponement and terms for the sale of the Ringwood and other divisions with details for bidders and town clerks.
