Army of Naples reports General Coanigen's corps advancing toward St Germano

From Rome dated Virbio the march of Gen. Coanigen's corps from Vaimontone toward Firentine and the frontier of the kingdom of Naples has engaged sparingly. The enemy has been driven back beyond the Garigliano toward Capua with French naval support, while Marshal Murat arrived at St Germano and then moved again to cover the retreat. The Government notes captured prisoners and comments on limited offensive follow up, predicting renewed operations as troops reposition near Ceprino and Garigliano. Lord Stawart reports loyal countrymen and pledges further progress details tomorrow if St Germino is occupied.
