Reports from London dated January 23 to 39 recount British and Flemish mail arrivals from Holland and lifben. Pardons, imperial diplomacy, and Liege politics shape early 18th century turmoil. Prince Edward's Mediterranean voyage and cabinet maneuvers surface amid royal inquiries and slave-trade debates.
Saturday morning the Countess of Weslmoriasa with family and trustees left for Holyhead to embark for Ireland. She waited at the General Post-office for the Irish mail, but since it did not arrive on time she ordered her lovers, if any, to be sent after her.
Dublin Thursday February 4. There will be levees at the Castle on Sundays until further orders. His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant will give audience on Tuesdays and Saturdays from one to four o'clock, and on Thursdays will transact military business at eleven o'clock.
Dublin Castle announces Her Majesty's Birthday celebration on February 18 with a Levee an Ode a Ball and four suppers. Nobility and gentry are urged to attend dressed in the manufactures of Ireland.
There will be no Drawing Room at the Cute until further notice as announced by Chamberlain's Office in Dublin Castles. The paper will publish any future updates.

A Jan 30 report from Drogheda details a large early morning fire at John Dowd’s handling house in West Street and a warehouse blaze at M Donne’s paper works. Neighbours aided by a fire engine battled flames, while nearby criminals looted Pat Carroll’s Hilltown home and assaulted his family, including a child. Sixteen assailants carried out the raid, with police capturing Joseph Lynch and Callen after details of the crime emerged.
