An OCR damaged ad from Exchequer Street offers Restorative Elixir for nervous and digestive troubles. It markets “Hervons affections” and female health ailments as a patent remedy, listing prices 6s and 3s 6d with a physician’s attendance times and notes on alleged soothing effects.
A historical ad touts Lowther Nervous Medicines claiming cure for convulsions strokes hysterical and hypochondriacal states. It markets Noctous Cordial Drops as pleasant for stomach pains and spasms and promises full details soon, with sale locations in Paris and England.
In pursuance of a decree of Her Majesty's Court of Exchequer, a sale is set for December 1 next at the King's Inn Dublin to auction the defendant's right and title to a stone house and shop in Clonmel County Tipperary with yard, garden, and conveniences, held by Constantine Wilfan, apothecary, for the purposes named in the decree.
