Medals and Loyalist Resolve Reported by Edinburgh Faculty
A notice from Edinburgh dated Aug 1711 details the Dean and Faculty of Advocates denying a circulating medal claim. They condemn misreports about a medal sent to a servant, vow loyalty to the Crown and Protestant succession, and announce a committee and forthcoming act of Faculty to publish their true account and prosecute the author of the false minutes. The document also includes other items: lottery results, port news, proclamations, and commercial notices from Dublin and London.
