Diet Opens in Silesia as Imperial Demands Move
From Breslau July 27 reports note the Diet of the Upper and Lower Silesian estates opened with speeches after the Emperor’s demands were presented. He seeks 1,110,333 Florins for military, 30,000 for the finances, and 10,000 for fortifications, with garrisons at Glogau and Jablunka under discussion. Warsaw reports the Primate recovery and Pacification Diet preparations.
