Magical Holiday Parade Delights Dover Crowds
Dover postponed parade on Monday November 29 drew hundreds of residents despite rain. Newick’s Seafood Restaurant won first in Commercial float with Abominable Snowman. Civic first went to Garrison Baptist Church Live Nativity. Youth first to Highland Preschool Kids on Christmas Eve. other floats featured carolers, animals, and festive characters. Santa arrived on a new float as 4H Club also showcased. Grand Marshal was Dover Citizen of the Year Robert Marston. Parade backed by Liberty Mutual with Chamber volunteers coordinating.
