Dixon City Council mourns Hank Williams death

Councilman Henry Hank Williams died Sunday from cancer complications. The Dixon City Council has 30 days to name a replacement. next spring will determine unexpired term via filing December 12 to 19 with potential primary February 28, 1989 or only general April 4 if filings are few. Mayor Dixon and Lee County leaders praised Williams for decades of public service and cooperation.
