Roller coaster Super Loop stalled trapping riders in Queens
A traveling carnival ride called Super Loop stalled at mid loop in Queens, leaving 15 riders upside down for over 12 hours. The ride, part of Murphy Enterprises from Tulsa, was cited last week for illegal operation in a residential area, with residents complaining and officials citing zoning violations. Police and fire crews used a tower ladder to reach and free the riders, including a 7 year old.
