Dixon Trade Fair Set With 36 Exhibitors in Dixon
The 15th annual Dixon Trade Fair in Lancaster Gymnasium Dixon High School runs April 8 and 9 with at least 36 exhibitors and about 4,000 expected visitors. John Thompson of the Dixon Chamber notes current exhibitor registrations near 75 to 80 percent capacity, with a $150 member and $240 non member booth fee. Door prizes plus hourly drawings and a $300 cash grand prize Sunday highlight the event. Special attractions include fingerprinting by the Dixon Police Department and Lee County Sheriff’s Department. Admission is free, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The task force includes Ken Etchison, Helen Snyder, Terry Doty, Tom Gascoigne, Colleen Brechon and Thompson.
