Stage cleared after pigeon cleanup at Dixon Theatre
About 50 people cleaned hundreds of pounds of pigeon droppings from the Dixon Theatre stage and auditorium using brooms and vacuums. The group sealed off the vent and added a safety net to prevent further droppings. A free performance of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is set for Thursday at 7 p.m. with no pigeons allowed. Upcoming events include a Community Passion Play March 19 and the U.S. Air Force Serenade in Blue on March 31.
