Pines Road facelift under way near parks
Pines Road between White Pines State Park and Lowell Park Road is undergoing complete regrading and resurfacing. Work should finish by August per Ogle County highways chief Jerry Hinrichs. Motorists from Dixon are advised to use Route 2 to Oregon or Ridge Road near Grand Detour, then approach Pines Road from the east.
