Well judged push to game in hearts contract
North and South reach a three hearts contract after North switches to hearts. East wins the spade king, cashes clubs, and returns a spade. Declarer wins, cashes diamonds, and plays hearts, clubs, and a diamond ruff. East could have defeated the game with an early switch, but the defenders remain unable to stop the contract given the play.
