Goodfellows and IDOT groups aid Dixon holiday baskets
Leydig Memorial Center buzzed with volunteers packing and distributing food baskets for about 100 families with roughly 30 workers led by Joan Sheridan. Donations come from Dixon residents and area businesses while IDOT District 2 staff raised over 3100 dollars to fund 42 baskets.

ComEd Rate-Hike Plan Draws Mixed Reactions From Stakeholders
ComEd officials concede insufficient study of the proposed rate increase and will analyze it further before presenting to the board.
