Kentucky Farm Bureau endorses higher tobacco lease cap
Kentucky Farm Bureau delegates at the annual convention approved doubling the tobacco lease limit from 15,000 pounds while rejecting efforts to remove the cap entirely or allow cross county leasing and quota sales. They also backed policies on tax litigation limits, driver license suspensions for underage dropouts, and freeing landowners from certain recreational liability. Recipients re elected top officers Ray Mackey, W.R. Sprague, and Sam Moore, with four new board members chosen.
