Easement Granted For Medical Arts Am bulatory Surgery Center
The Sauk Valley Community College board approved an easement to Dr. David Peterson of Dixon to access his property east of campus for construction of a Medical Arts Ambulatory Surgery Center. The deal includes a 20 year binding term, a trust deed for three acres if the dormitory is not built by 1992-93, and Peterson paying up to 7500 dollars in legal costs. The ASC will have two surgery rooms, a multipurpose room, 5800 square feet, and cost over 1.728 million. Sauk will mentor nursing and medical students there. Applications for the current Sauk board vacancy are due April 21 with a vote planned April 24.
