Dixon Water Works plans shown in Dixon Sun report

Mayor Thomas in Chicago views specifications for the Dixon Water Works pumping house iron tank and two duplex steam engines. Proposals call for a 127 ft 9 in circumference tank and two 54 in by 14 ft boilers with 36 tubes, aiming completion by December 15 1883. Contractors must warrant performance and risk for six months.
