County Board approves numerous claims and tax levies
The board approved salaries and expenses for jail, sheriff, and other offices, extended town and county tax amounts for 1889, and ordered payments to Manard Bros and J F Sanford. It authorized building at the county farm, set grand jurors for January 1890, and approved alms house and condensing works invites. The finance committee proposed a 38000 county tax levy, with a December adjournment set.
