California Correspondence from the Dixon Sun Eighth Letter

In February and March 1889 a Dixon Sun writer tours Southern California. He describes San Diego and National City, mentions water projects, ranches, fruit and grain lands priced from $20 to $200 per acre, growing railroads, and a frontier hospitality scene with locals and visitors including H. T. Noble and Col. Noble. He notes vast potential for development and forthcoming unity of San Diego and National City.
