Bear Stranglers Rope Grizzly Bears Near Bad Lands
Hank Cusker and James McNaney of the N N outfit chased four grizzly bears from Big Dry to the roundup. They roped two bears, one around the neck and one by the hind leg, using a small knife to skin and dispatch them after hours of effort. The other two bears fled into the Bad Lands as the pair secured the pelts and returned to the ranch.
