Miss Carolyn Crombie of Dixon attended graduation exercises here last Tuesday. W. Ow. Lihman and daughters Alice and Kathryn, and Mr. Moss holder and daughter Anna were present at the exercises. Miss Jennie Harding spent Thursday in Dixon with her mother. Mrs. George Weidman visited the Lienry Shippert home Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Therbst and daughter Inez visited Charles Ware’s Dixon home Saturday. Miss Gaffney and Miss Imert, Dixon seniors, left for Chicago to take exams for the University of Chicago and continue studies. St James Missionary society met with Mrs. Martha Shippert. twenty attended. The session opened with prayer and readings. several members led the study chapter from The African Trail. Minutes and roll call were read. songs were performed by Misses Uneel, Myrtle Whitebread, and Grace Bothe.
