Donzel Passes Away in Ukiah After Long California Life
Aime Joseph Donzel, 82, a native of California, died in Ukiah after a gradual decline. A former bay area powder firm head and San Francisco club figure, he lived in Mendocino County for about 16 years at Duncan Springs and Ukiah. Known as a horseman, Paddy the horse was as famous as his master. He and his late brother David led the east bay powder business, and Donzel traced ancestry to early pioneers on both sides.
