Willis T. File and Frances Pearl Phillips surprised Dillon residents by marrying Saturday evening in Butte. The 8 o'clock ceremony was conducted by Rev. J. W. Tait in the couple’s new home at 710 Dakota Street. File, a Montana resident for years, is an expert bookkeeper and draughtsman now employed by Anaconda Copper. Phillips is well known in Dillon and has lived here with her sister. Friends extend hearty congratulations.

At a meeting of the Order of Eastern Star in Great Balla last week Mrs Jonnie L Bishop of Mizpah Chapter No 18 Dillon was elected grand worthy matron. A well known society lady she has resided here many years and has long served as worthy matron of the local lodge.
