Montana County Road Petition and Public Works Minutes 1911
The Dillon county board meetings of September 7 to 9 1911 reviewed a new road petition from G C Stimpson et al, detailing a route along Sec 17 to the Beaverhead river and Canyon ditch with bridges and culverts proposed. Viewers amended the petition and recommended county rights of way and work by petitioners, with fines and donations from landowners to fence and maintain the route. Additional items include bridge contracts on Pendergast cross road, viewings on Warren Selway road petition, and staff appointments, payrolls, and county expenses. The piece also notes the death of former Senator Thomas Carter of Montana and his funeral plans in Washington.
