Beaverhead County September 6 1892 County Commission minutes
Beaverhead County commissioners met at the courthouse September 6 1892 and adjourned sine die September 8. Officers present were Wason M. Oliver chair, George M. Brown, H. Knippenberg, and W. A. Jones clerk. They named polling places and judges for the November 8 election across Argenta Bannack Big Hole Barretts Birch Creek Bishop's Breuner's Blacktail Cavendish Dewey's Flat Dillon St. 2 Ek Worn Fox's Store Glendale Weeland Lima Medicine Lodge Polaris Quartz Hill Red Rock Red Rock Spring s. Also approved quarterly reports from sheriff assessor treasurer county attorney clerk of district court and clerk and recorder. Mileage and payrolls for numerous county employees and vendors were authorized and paid. Also various road and polling place actions including discontinuing Cochranes polling place and opening O. S. L. and uv &N Silver claims assessments. Notices listed local legal and commercial notices including railroad tickets for fairs and upcoming events.
