Lima Dam Irrigation Project Advocated by Dillon Backers
Dillon Montana October 1 1908 readers are asked to support the Red Rock Reservoir and Irrigation Company as Lima Dam work advances under Ben Hager with Stearns Construction Chicago. Engineers say completion by Christmas is likely with funds on deposit and guarantees for water payments through 1918. Water rights priced at 11 per acre foot with October 10October fees and November 10. Purchasers receive stock in the company after five years and allow conveyance via purchaser ditches. The plan limits sales to 70 percent of reservoir capacity and bonds the dam for ten years.
