John Haley 43 a former Brooklyn native and railroad foreman died at the 0.8 L depot in Dillon of ureamic convulsions while waiting for a train. Treated recently for Brights disease he had worked in Utah Idaho and on the Northern Pacific. Funeral held at Brundage's parlors.

Dillon sees several major property deals with Graeter buying the Estes two story block on Bannack for 9000 and G raeter also purchasing Mrs. Estes Idaho street lots for 1500. The Odd Fellows building on Bannack Idaho sold for 8000 to Graeter. A transfer moves the T W Poindexter home from Bannack Idaho. Smith will build bricks on the corner. Halliday and Patterson buy west side track property for 500.

Mr Boatman's cattle sale draws strong demand and higher prices
Mr Boatman reported a successful sale of mostly dry stock including yearlings and two to three year olds. Principal buyers bought in carload lots: Anderson Bros, O G Hall of Kangas, Geo Covesdale of Kuna, and J A Weir of Plymouth. Five carloads were shipped to H W Jetton of Murphysboro. Prices averaged $8 to $20 per head. Buyers were satisfied and another sale may occur within 80 days.
