Sven Neilson, a 66 year old Dillon resident and sailor, was struck near Millen & Herman's brickyard by the Irish Mail engine Sunday. The coroner's jury cleared the railroad of blame. Neilson died early Wednesday from a mangled shoulder and broken ribs after the incident.
E T Rang of New Haven Ohio reports from Dillon Mont that the Gold Coin stoves lead among thirty two makes at the Chicago Exposition, praised by customers. He says he has ordered another car-load for shipment at a close margin and plans a fine line of Christmas goods at low prices, with potential for further shipments this fall. He expects to visit soon, despite the Dillon Tribune’s claims.
