Beav erhead County Fair races cost largely to stockholders
A Dillon stockholder informs the Tribune that harness races recoup only part of purses through entry and winning fees. He notes seven entries paid 105 dollars in a 300 dollar race, four winners took 60 dollars, leaving 165 from horsemen and 135 from the association to cover the purse. Dillon men attend Bannack funeral under Masonic rites
J S Baker and Wm Lenkersdorfer with John Lenkersdorfer and W S Lyle of Idaho Falls attended the funeral of John Cloutier in Bannack last Saturday. The service was under the Masonic lodge with Lyle in charge, and interment occurred at Bannack cemetery. A large crowd from Dillon witnessed the ceremony led by Rev A F Colver and his wife who left Dillon.

No More Trouble at Head of City Water System

Fatal Aosta Car Crash Kills Driver Near Dillon
A W Wilson auto collided with a telephone pole on the road to Lovell ranch east of Dillon. Bertha Crowder, a Rattlesnake school teacher, was badly injured and unconscious after the crash. Mrs. Wilson and T K Julson suffered significant bruises while Julson flew over twenty feet from the car. Dr. H A Bond transported all victims to Dillon for care.

Frank A. Hazelbaker, clerk of the court, came home Tuesday evening from Helena with his right eye badly swollen and painful. The physician suspects the eye was poisoned by something that entered it, causing the discharge.

She will sing at the Methodist church Sunday evening.

Mining firm buys forty horses in county
Agents for the Blackfoot Mining company of Idaho purchased 40 head of horses in two carloads in the county last week paying an average price above $200 per animal. Most purchases came from J. E. Morse C. A. Smith and Mrs R A Reynolds.
