Death of Jennie Gilbert Remembrance in Dillon Montana
Jennie Lois Gilbert eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs John R Gilbert died after typhoid fever in Dillon Montana at age 17. She was a student at Dillon High School active in Epworth League and Delta Literary Society. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church with six girl friends as pallbearers.

The Christian Endeavor Society at the Presbyterian church held a pleasant social for friends last Friday at A B Rife’s home. The large house was crowded and entertainment varied with much spirit. Tea was served after which guests dispersed after a cheerful evening. W M Knapp traveled to Butte for business while Levi Cartier of Butte visited town on business. Ex Governor B F White remarks about Cald well Idaho business and A C Rose traveled from Pocatello noting heavy snow.
