High School Board Elects Teachers and Sets Building Plans
The High School board counted 427 votes on the bonding proposition and re elected Miss Elizabeth Hawley English and literature Miss Josephine W Holt Latin and mathematics and J Edgar Tyree science and German. A commercial teacher vacancy remains and bids for the new building are due May 15 at 8 pm with a May 18 meeting to review plans. A joint meeting of the high school and public school boards will follow.

Forsyth Post memorializes Otho Klemm G A R leader
Forsyth Post honored Otho Klemm a charter member and longtime quartermaster who helped organize the post in northwestern Ohio. He served with the Taylor Chicago battery from 1861 to 1864 and died in Ogden Utah on the 11th. The memorial was entered in minutes, a copy sent to Ogden G A R, and the charter draped for 30 days.
