Rider Charles Gillin Dies After Accident on Big Hole Ranch
Charles Gillin, a range rider on Levi Cartier's Big Hole ranch, died last Thursday after a gun discharged while he was rounding up steers. The bullet pierced his abdomen. the horse and dog returned to the ranch with a blood stained saddle alerting workers. The dog led rescuers to Gillin, who was found unconscious and died after reaching the house.

Ajax Mine to Restart in Big Hole Basin
