Metzel Arrested in Bank Forgery Case in Butte
Noted forger Metzel was captured in connection with a $6,000 bank forgery at Butte Montana. Authorities found $4,000 in gold and cash on him. A Cleveland milliner and an associate allegedly aided the scheme. Metzel is a son of Montana state senator Alex Metzel and was described as a notorious and sought-after criminal.
