Commissioners March Meeting in Beaverhead County 1923
The Beaverhead county commissioners met March 5 1923 at 10 30 AM with Chairman A L Anderson Commissioners O C Gosman and J E Shaw and Deputy Clerk J C Fuller present. They approved last minutes reviewed road petitions appointed viewers and discussed road closures Polish Buyan road fence issues and Forest Highway System pending action by the State Highway Commission. They re appointed Dr F M Poindexter as county health officer and approved indemnity bonds for county funds and directed the county attorney to handle delinquent payments to the State Orphan's Home Twin Bridges.

County commissioners examined the river bridge at Drummey Lane for safety and visited the Poor Farm. They authorized planting trees around the courthouse, appointed Afton Lloyd as clerk for one month, and approved grasshopper extermination plans led by East Bench ranchers. February reports were reviewed and county funds approved for numerous payments and services.
