Washington bound family drama of a senator campaign
After a fatal car crash a mother and father die leaving three daughters Adele Helen and Limpy to be taken to Washington by Aunt Olympia wife of Senator Slopshire. Olympia hires publicity help and a web of political schemes unfolds as Len Hardesty and Gabriel dAllotti vie for influence while the family adapts to a new life on the road and in politics. The tale closes with Congress adjournment and Olympia ready to begin the campaign in earnest.
