Weekly Correspondence From Twin Bridges and Surrounding Towns
Our weekly coastal report covers alfalfa cutting, local concerts, and social visits in Twin Bridges and nearby areas. Notable items include Mr. Henshaw's departure to Chicago, mining interests in Goodrich gulch, Dr. Williams passing through, and a memorial note on Mrs. Mary V. Cook of Boulder. The piece also debates the tramp question, praising sympathy for unemployed workers and criticizing broad labels, plus notes on Virginia City flies and horse tails during fly season.
