Young Man Dies Of Lingering Illness
Clifford Michelson age 15, son of Mr and Mrs Louis Michelson of this city, died at his home on Kentucky avenue shortly after midnight Monday after a week of critical illness and a year long struggle with splenic anemia. He underwent two major operations at Mayo Hospital Rochester and in Butte. A well known and popular student and Boy Scout, he had a funeral Wednesday at the Baptist church with an honorary Scout escort. pallbearers were Chas Thomas Carl Hansen Charles Retallack Howard Roseneau Sherman Hughes and Levant Taylor. He was born April 17 1909 and the community extends sympathy to his parents.

A shipment of 750000 grayling fry arrived Thursday from Columbia Gardens and was placed by Dillon Sportsmen's Association in the nursery above the old electric light plant. The fry will be released into nearby streams once they grow. F A Mason a Boston wool buyer is visiting Dillon and may buy Beaverhead county wool in large amounts.

Former Argenta Resident Dies at Salmon Home
James Melvyn of Salmon died at his ranch on June 14 from injuries suffered when attacked by a bull three days earlier. His daughter Vera Melvyn, once with Western Wholesale and now in Butte, reached his bedside before his death.

Man and Wife Arrested Over Moonshine Disorder
Mr and Mrs Jack Merritt were arrested on the west side after sheriff reports of “beating up” a spouse. The couple, both intoxicated, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and were fined ten dollars each and allowed to leave town on foot within the judge's time.
