In Jackson on June 13 the Rev. J. N. MacLean D D of Helena preached on Behold the Nail Prints in the Hand and led the Presbyterian church to organize its membership. The sermon, focusing on hands of service and sacrifice, urged daily charity to overcome evil with good.
Charter members greet new Jackson Community church as action is taken to buy a church site and building. A five member building committee chaired by Rev. Feely is named. Ground breaking occurs June 20 with sod turned and plans for gravel and lumber. A June 29 church grounds picnic invites workers and potential carpenters or stucco contractors to join. About 1100 dollars remains to complete the modest church for community services.
A large crowd attended the Idlewild club house Saturday night in Lakeview to celebrate the marriage of Miss Zella May Hansen and Blaze Luger, wed June 5 in Butte. The couple, after a stay in Butte, returned to the Centennial area for the celebration with friends from nearby towns and Idaho.
