New Depot Under Construction and Local News Notes
The new depot is under construction with the foundation nearly finished and work to begin soon. the old depot will be moved to Crabtree. The 0.8. L. pipe line is being repaired this week. A Friday night dance drew a large crowd with light refreshments at midnight and good times reported. Various residents and visitors travel to Dillon, Spokane, Ogden, and Meadow Creek for business and health reasons. Mrs. General Browne is described as much better this week.

Chief Stone confronted a hobo camp near the stock yards after a 10 am confrontation. He fired after a gun emerged during an arrest attempt, killing one attacker and injuring another as officers moved four more hobos toward town. The four were jailed and searched, with ongoing pursuit indicated.
