Tragic double suicide after cafe shooting in Dillon
Thomas Lawler, a 25 year old swamper at Centennial saloon, shot Schmeltzling in the Centennial Cafe then killed himself outside the window and again in the alley. Schmeltzling, a 35 year old cook, died at 11 o clock after being wounded, as the inquest announced for this afternoon.
