Charges dismissed over desert land entry on Hell Gate forest
The Helena land office officials ruled there was no reason or justification for charges brought by an assistant forester against Albert Bourbonnier executor of John Pinenteau's estate. The 1896 entry near Fishtrap in the Big Hole country could not proceed until surveyed. The 1908 claim that the land was not arid was deemed untenable, as testimony was hearsay and filed long after reclamation.
