Uncle Caleb’s Will Sparks Family Feud and Flight

Uncle Caleb Cheverel visits London relatives amid friction over spare room and potential will. Jenny Eldertop uncovers a rough draft leaving £10,000 to nieces, while Mrs. Larkins presses for fair treatment. Caleb later hides the document, gives it to Johnny for a kite tail, and leaves Gravesend. Five years on, his £20,000 consol to John Clark and £5 to each niece fuel lasting resentment.
