Death in Deer Lodge From Smallpox Outbreak
One death and several other cases reported in Deer Lodge as smallpox after initial chickenpox diagnoses. Lucien W. Woolfolk died after infection spread. his funeral was held privately. Other patients include 8. E. Larable’s oldest daughter and additional exposures occurred due to lack of precautions.
