Dr Carl B Taylor a longtime Dillon optometrist and civic leader died at Barrett hospital Sunday afternoon after a relapse following an appendicitis operation He was born in New Brunswick Canada and lived in Beaverhead county for most of his life Surviving are his widow two daughters Mildred and Louise his mother Mrs Louise Taylor and brother Levant T Funeral service was held Tuesday at Brundage chapel with Rev H J Schmidt presiding and burial at Mountain View cemetery.

William Calloway a longtime Dillon resident and livestock man died Friday at Barrett hospital after a brief illness. He was 79 and had lived in Dillon since 1882. A sister was summoned to Dillon as his condition worsened.
