Pride of Dillon Ruins and Plans for a New Building

The Pride of Dillon building once housed by J W Lusher was heavily damaged by fire on December 23, 18? and torn down by owner Governor B F White. A new modern structure will replace it, becoming Dillon's new pride. Erected by C L Thompson in 1882 or 1883, it was the town’s largest brick building and later hosted a grocery and fruit store then a dry goods and ration shop.
